Reflections on First Semester

This semester I learned a lot about techniques to make my photos more visually appealing. There were many step along the way that lead to this. I think the first time I really learned something that shook up everything I knew was shutter speed and aperture. I knew what these were before this class, but had no idea how to change them or utilize them in specific ways. These techniques helped me become a better photographer this year. I also got to use Photoshop and Lightroom to edit my photos. I didn't really learn anything about Photoshop, as I already knew pretty much all the basics of Photoshop. I didn't learn all that much on the editing front this semester, so I hope to learn more about that. I hope that next semester I continue to learn things that help me to improve, like more camera controls.
